Dartford Metalcrafts have specialised for over 45 years, in the design and manufacture of refuse chute systems and have incorporated their considerable experience into manufacturing 4 ¼ hour fire rated refuse hoppers to BS476 PART 22:1987 and 3 ¾ hour fire rated automatic cut-off units to BS476 PART 22:1987.
All new refuse chute system installations are manufactured to order and thus can be tailor-made to meet the specific requirements of each contract.

SURVEY – After receiving your inquiry, we will survey to discover what is required to make your refuse system meet the current British Standard, quoting you accordingly.
DESIGN – Our design team will ensure that the correct hopper type is selected for each site and automatic cut-off units are manufactured in accordance with current British standards.
INSTALL – Installation involves replacing the necessary existing chute properties (and disposing of them free of charge).
CERTIFICATE – Once installation is complete, certification is issued guaranteeing our works are compliant to the British Standard, and covers 12 month warranty on manufacturing and installation defects.
SERVICE – Our site team will return annually to maintain our original works. Servicing includes replacing worn components, re-greasing mechanisms and doing what it takes to keep your system in line with current regulations.
