The bottom end of any refuse disposal tube normally terminates in a chamber where the rubbish is deposited into a suitable receptacle i.e. Paladin or similar.

At the end of the chute is a special section designed to deflect the refuse cleanly into the bin, and incorporated into this section is an automatic cut-off slide plate fitted with a fusible link, which in the event of a fire, will slam shut, stopping the fire from spreading up the chute. In addition, the cut-off has a manual operating handle for ease of closure, when changing bins, in the bin room.

Dartford Metalcrafts manufacture standards discharge chute ends and cut-offs that can be installed to meet any physical requirements within the refuse bin chamber. Both single and double outlet models are available, or they can be custom made to meet special circumstances.

Standards units are square section and constructed in heavy-duty galvanized steel.

A complete design, advisory and installation SERVICE is available to ensure that our clients achieve an economic solution with a QUALITY product that is reliable in operation.
